Shree Mahalakshmi Sweets is a renowned brand in Mysore, known for its traditional sweets. With a rich legacy spanning over two decades, it has garnered a loyal customer base. The brand approached Design Distrikt to enhance its existing brand and capture a wider audience.

We began with an immersive session, sitting down with the passionate team at Shree Mahalakshmi Sweets. We delved deep into their brand values, essence, and the emotions they wished to communicate. The existing brand collaterals were due for a refresh. We created a comprehensive creative brief, unraveling the intricacies of the brand - what it stood for, the experience it promised, the feelings it evoked, and the diverse audience it catered to.

The first step – a logo redesign that seamlessly blended modern aesthetics with the cherished old emblem. This thoughtful approach aimed to retain familiarity for existing patrons while captivating the attention of the new generation.

We carefully curated a colour palette that not only complemented the brand but also added a touch of luxury and premium appeal to Shree Mahalakshmi Sweets. These hues became the visual thread weaving through the brand's identity. To bring order to the sweet symphony of products, we conceptualised a product system categorising them based on flavour and behaviour. This systematic approach ensured a cohesive visual design across all products while allowing for flexibility in showcasing their diverse offerings.

Anticipating future needs, we developed design templates that could be effortlessly replicated for new products under each category. This not only streamlined the design process but also ensured consistency across the entire product range.

We extended the brand’s visual identity to other collaterals – from menu cards to display screens, carry bags to billboards. This holistic approach gave Shree Mahalakshmi Sweets a fresh perspective, pushing it to new heights without compromising its core identity.

The overall result is a refreshed visual identity that pays homage to tradition while subtly embracing the contemporary, providing Shree Mahalakshmi Sweets with a quietly refined and timeless visual upgrade.
